JonRobert is a renowned psychologist and behavioral scientist, helping organizations globally to develop effective strategies, build intelligent workforces, and consistently deliver successful results.
Kelly Shrock worked in and supported higher education for twenty years before transitioning to The Community Foundation in 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Social Work from Ball State University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Miami University.
As President of The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Kelly worked with donors, community volunteers, and civic leaders to create a legacy that benefitted the Muncie community for years to come.
Kelly is currently the Executive Director of the Des Moines Public Library Foundation. Surrounded by books, she and a part-time administrative assistant work to ensure a six-branch public library system has the resources they need to enrich the community.
She holds the professional credential of Certified Fundraising Executive. Kelly is also a graduate of The Fundraising School with a Certificate in Fundraising Management. She joined the faculty of The Fundraising School in 2014.
Her community service includes Des Moines AM Rotary Club, Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council, P.E.O. and Westminster Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, Joel, live in West Des Moines, IA.
Conroy Boxhill is a senior communications executive with more than 20 years of experience helping companies achieve their business goals through strategic communications.
In his current role leading U.S. for Porter Novelli, Conroy leads a high-performing team of 300 communications professionals who partner with clients to anticipate, navigate and close the “say-do” gap on stakeholder expectations.
As the global pandemic and fight for racial justice emerged a focal point for businesses, Conroy and team launched a consulting offering to guide clients on values-based solutions designed to break down systems of injustice and create systems of fairness and equity.
Conroy has extensive expertise working with the C-suite and Boards of Directors to shape strategic communications programs to transform their business. Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Conroy led Edelman’s corporate and crisis practice where he served as a senior strategist for global crisis communications, thought leadership and reputation management.
Conroy earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Barbara has thirty years of annual fund, major gifts, and campaign fundraising experience at major non-profit organizations including Harvard University, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Oxford University in England, and the American Red Cross. She is founder and principal of Windmill Hill Consulting, based in the Metro DC area. She serves as past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Washington DC Metro Chapter and as a former member of the Advisory Panel for Rogare, The Fundraising Think Tank in the U.K. She sits on the board of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance and chairs the Research Committee for the Giving USA Foundation. In 2020, she joined the faculty at the University of Maryland’s Do Good Institute teaching nonprofit fundraising.
